Blanc DuBois is a hybrid varietal, bred by a Texan professor in the late 1960s. It was named after a French grower who came to the states in the 1880s. It is environmentally robust and easy for conscientious caretaking, growing wonderfully across the American South. It has characteristics of crisp, acidic fresh fruit with floral aromas and flavors. Blanc DuBois can be served at room temperature or slightly chilled and pairs wonderfully with charcuterie trays, picnics, or light meats and poultries.
